Appreciation post: my buddy told me I overshare on ads and now my feed is finally boring in the best way
So for probably two years I was one of those people who left full paragraphs in the comments on every promoted post, mostly just complaining, and my feed turned into a wall of mattresses and weird knee braces. About 6 months ago my buddy Marcus in Cincinnati told me flat out that the comment sections were basically a signup sheet and I was handing over free data. I stopped typing anything, just hit hide on the junk, and now I mostly get stuff I actually looked up on my own. Did cutting the comment fights work for you all, or am I just lucky that the algorithm forgot about me?
