Found a stat about how many people actually keep using audio chat rooms

Only 23 percent? That's a crazy low number to stick around. Makes it feel like a feature people try once for the novelty. Hard to see it lasting unless it finds a real use.

My neighbor in Phoenix said he pays his quarterly taxes with a credit card for the points

That's a clever hack, but graceblack is right about checking the math. The real risk I see is getting hit with a big tax bill and putting it on credit because you have the points option, then carrying a balance. Those interest rates would wipe out any rewards in a week. Do you think the convenience makes people less careful with saving up for taxes?

I finally had to pick between cedar and pressure treated for a whole backyard job

Smart move saving money where it counts. Did the cedar sections need any special stain to match the pressure treated color at all? I did something similar with a deck, used nicer composite for the top boards you see and standard wood for the hidden frame underneath.

Watched a guy use a $20 digital inspection camera versus a $200 one on the same engine.

Hot take: You get what you pay for. Honestly, that washout problem is a dealbreaker for real work. Trying to squint at a glowing white screen while your arm is crammed in an engine bay is the worst. The mid-range ones around a hundred bucks are the sweet spot, they usually have a better screen that can handle the light. It's the difference between seeing a guess and seeing the actual problem. Saving fifty bucks isn't worth the headache and wasted time.

My $15 lentil soup experiment turned into a week of dinners

Ever try adding a splash of vinegar to your soup, @blake691?
