Just realized I spot fake ads now because of one Dunkin spot from 2019
I used to skip right past ads without noticing anything wrong with them, until last week when I caught a local car dealer ad where the same woman was in the driver seat and the passenger seat in back to back shots. Now I pause and replay every ad looking for cut corners, and I found 3 more mess ups in one night of watching Hulu in my living room. Does anyone else do this, or did one bad edit just ruin normal TV for me?
So you're telling me one bad edit sent you down a rabbit hole where now you can't just watch TV anymore without going full detective mode? That sounds less like a fun hobby and more like you ruined your own chill time for no real payoff. Yeah, ads cut corners, that's basically the whole point of ads, they're cheap and fast and nobody's supposed to study them frame by frame. If spotting a lady in two seats somehow makes the commercial less annoying, fine, but you're still watching the same ad either way. Not sure that counts as a win.
