I finally killed a $2,100/mo ad set last Tuesday after 4 months of lying to myself
Back in January I launched a retargeting campaign for my electrician shop in Sacramento, and it was printing leads at $11 each for the first 6 weeks. Then in March the cost per lead crept up to $34, then $58 by May, and I kept telling myself the numbers would bounce back if I just tweaked the creative one more time. Finally pulled the plug last Tuesday and my cost per booked job dropped 40% overnight on the stuff I kept running, so how long do you all let a dying ad set bleed before you cut it?
