Switched our ad account from manual bidding to auto last month and my cost per lead fell from $18 to $11
Had a client in Portland who was spending $3,400 a month on Facebook and we were stuck at $18 per lead with manual bids. I finally talked them into testing auto bidding on just one campaign for two weeks, keeping everything else the same. Went from $18 down to $11 per lead and the volume actually went up, which I did not expect at all. The only thing I changed was pulling the bid cap off and letting the algo run. Anyone else find that auto bidding works better once you have solid conversion data, or does it fall apart at higher spend?
