That Thursday in March when 4 banned ads dropped in one day and mods could not keep up
Last March I checked this sub at lunch and there were already 6 posts about a diaper ad that got pulled in Canada, all within like 2 hours. Then the same afternoon a beer spot in Brazil got yanked for a scene with a kid, and some crypto ad in the UK got banned for a fake testimonial. The comment sections were unhinged, people were rating them 9/10 just on pure chaos, and half the links were dead by dinner. Normally we get one good pulled ad a week, so 4 in a day was nuts. Anyone remember which one got taken down first, I think it was the diaper one but I could be wrong.
Wait, the diaper ad was the one that got pulled first? I could have sworn the crypto one in the UK went down before that because I remember seeing the fake testimonial screenshots super early in the morning my time. But honestly that whole day was such a blur that I might be mixing it up with a different week. Four banned ads in one day is actually insane though, I don't think we've had a day that wild since. The beer spot with the kid scene was the one that really got me, like how did that even make it past the first round of approvals. Half the links being dead by dinner was the worst part because you'd click on a thread and just get nothing.
