Rant: A mattress ad in Boise got me so mad I called the store and asked for the manager
I was driving through Boise last month when this 60 second radio spot for a local mattress place promised a free pillow with any purchase, no fine print mentioned. I called the store to ask why the cashier told my sister she needed to spend $500, and the owner admitted the pillow deal was only for the first 10 customers. Has anyone else actually gotten a straight answer out of a local ad, or is that just how it goes?
