Vent: saw a mattress store ad at a comedy show in Austin and now I can't stop rating ads
Went to a stand-up show at a small club on East 6th in Austin two weeks back and they played a local mattress store ad on the screen between sets. It was a guy in a fake beard yelling about coils for 30 seconds, and the whole room lost it. Since then I've been pausing my phone on ads just to judge if they're good or trash. Is this just me, or does seeing a bad ad in a room full of people ruin you for normal ads forever?
