Unpopular opinion: I paid $15 for a cereal box with a cartoon bee on it and it saved my whole Saturday
Honestly I never buy stuff just for the box, but last week at the Jewel-Osco on Ashland there was this honey nut cereal with a goofy bee mascot doing the running man on the back. It was $15, which is nuts for cereal, but my niece would not stop staring at it in the cart. So I caved. Tbh that box sat on our counter for a week and every single morning she asked me to make the bee 'do the dance' while we ate. It turned a boring Saturday into a whole thing where we made up a song about the bee. Ngl I still catch myself humming it while prepping at work. Anybody else ever drop dumb money on a product just because the mascot got its hooks in you? Because that bee got me good.
