The dance tutorial said "step touch" and I stepped onto my kid's toy car and ate carpet
My 13 year old showed me a dance from some app last week and I figured, sure, I'm 38, how hard can 20 seconds of moves be. Turns out every tutorial says "step touch" but nobody says which foot starts, so I kept mirroring the video and going the wrong way while my daughter yelled "no, your OTHER left." By try four I lost my balance and went down over a toy car in the living room, and my knee has a bruise the size of a plum. The kids thought it was the best thing they'd seen all month, which is a little insulting honestly. Here's my real question, when a trend video says "just follow along," how do you know if the person is facing the camera or facing away? Because apparently that one detail decides whether you look cool or end up on the floor.
