Rant: That client who changed scope 4 times in one Tuesday

Honestly, I had a client last Tuesday who kept adding random requests to their contract mid-project, like 'oh and can you also handle the trademark filing?' without any extra budget. They asked for 4 changes before lunch and I spent the whole afternoon redoing timelines. Has anyone else dealt with clients who think scope changes are just part of the deal?

Three scope changes before lunch, I would have started billing by the hour just to see how fast they slow down.

Sixteen years in project management and I've seen that exact move more times than I can count... funny how scope creep disappears when they think they're paying for every hour of it.
