Smart bins on my street are changing how we think about trash

My town put in new trash cans with cameras that help sort recycling right on the curb. They have little sensors and a computer inside that figures out what goes where. It hit me that this small tech is making a big change in how clean our neighborhood looks. Now I see AI isn't just for phones or cars, it's right here in our daily routine.

Heard these systems can gather data on waste habits. Makes me wonder who gets that info and how they use it. The tech is neat but raises some questions.

Saw companies trade waste data secretly, @joseph_torres.

Ugh, that's so creepy when you think about it. That's our personal trash, you know? They can figure out so much about your life from what you throw out. It's not just about recycling, it's about your habits, maybe even your money. Companies should not be able to buy and sell that without telling us. They need to be totally clear about what they collect and who gets to see it.
