Unpopular opinion: I wasted 6 months feeding AI tools my old client photos before I noticed the real issue
I run a small photo editing gig here in Akron and started using an AI upscaler back in March to fix old wedding shots. Kept getting weird smeared faces and blamed the tool. Then a buddy watched me work and asked why I was uploading the tiny Facebook copies instead of the full size files from my drive. That was it. I was feeding it garbage and getting garbage back. Anyone else catch themselves using a tool wrong for way too long before someone else pointed it out?
Did you ever figure out how many other steps in your workflow were built on bad habits like that? Because once you spot one thing you've been doing wrong for months, it usually means there are two or three more hiding in the same process. Makes you want to slow down and check every step instead of just blaming the software.
