The frozen veggie air fryer hack I laughed at is actually amazing

My roommate kept telling me to toss frozen broccoli straight into the air fryer with some oil and seasoning. I thought it would come out all soggy and gross like when you microwave it. Finally gave it a shot last Tuesday because I was too lazy to defrost anything. Came out crispy on the edges and tender inside in about 12 minutes at 380 degrees. I used a little garlic powder and paprika on top and it tasted way better than fresh broccoli I've cooked. Definitely changed my mind about cooking from frozen. Anyone else find a frozen item that works better than fresh in the air fryer?

Makes you wonder why we even bother thawing things first when this works better.

My air fryer changed my whole approach to chicken wings honestly... I used to thaw them in the fridge overnight then pat them dry and season them. One night I forgot to take them out and just threw frozen wings in there at 375 for about 25 minutes flipping halfway through. They came out way crispier than my usual method and the inside was still juicy. I barely use the thaw function on my microwave anymore for stuff like that.
