Hit a 780 credit score last month and I think the system is rigged

Credit unions don't even report to all three bureaus the same way.

Week from hell on a driveway pour near Denver

Nothing like paying top dollar for concrete that decides to set up faster than a nervous cat at the vet. Always a treat when the homeowner gets to play art critic on your rushed broom finish. Guess we all learned that extra water on the truck is just a temporary fix for a bad mix design.

I finally tried air frying frozen fish sticks without preheating

Yeah I've totally been there. Tossing them in early is the move, I usually drop mine in about 2-3 minutes before the timer goes off. If they're still a little hard in the middle after that, just add another minute and check again. It's a pain but beats having a rock hard center or a burnt exterior.

Had to choose between carbon dating a bone fragment or a charcoal sample from the same hearth pit

Is it really that big of a deal? Hearth ash is usually pretty old carbon, and pottery can get moved around easily by animals or water. I bet the dates are close enough to still tell you the pottery was used around the same time roughly. Sounds like you just have to squint a little at the results, not throw the whole site away.

Had to pick between posting at 6am vs 9pm for a week straight

Oh wow, that's interesting but it actually makes total sense to me. I think a lot of those "best times" lists are just copy-pasted from generic studies that don't account for real life. People scrolling before work are probably more focused and engaged, while evening posts get lost in the chaos of dinner and winding down. 6am might just hit that sweet spot where folks are on their phones with coffee but haven't tuned out yet.
