TIL parchment paper liners can scorch in the basket if you don't weigh them down

I used those round paper liners for 3 months without a problem, but last Tuesday I put one in for frozen egg rolls and it flew up into the heating coil. Smoke everywhere, my kitchen smelled like a campfire for two days. The package said oven safe to 450 but nothing about air fryer fans. I checked the box again and it had a tiny warning about loose liners on the side. Now I only use them with wet batter or I put a small trivet on top until the food weighs it down. Has anyone else had this happen or am I the only one who ignored the fine print?
