The FAA handbook says a 100 hour inspection can slide 10 hours and I never knew that
I was reading the AC 43-13 appendix over the weekend and hit the part about the 100 hour being allowed to overrun by up to 10 hours for the purpose of getting to a place where it can be done. Been turning wrenches 9 years at a shop outside Wichita and nobody ever pointed that out to me. I always thought a 100 hour was a hard wall, no flex at all. So how do you all log the overrun hours, and does your shop even allow it or do they just say no to keep it simple?
