I called 14 plumbers in Albuquerque over 3 days and only 4 bothered to call back
I had a slab leak under my kitchen floor in the Northeast Heights and I figured finding a plumber would take a day, tops. I started calling on a Monday morning and kept a list in a notebook like some kind of detective. Out of 14 shops, 4 called me back, 3 actually showed up to look at it, and zero of them could come out before the following week. One guy on Central told me he was booked 6 weeks out and laughed about it, which honestly made me respect him more than the ones who just never picked up. I get it, everyone is busy, but if you run a service business in this town you have to at least answer the phone or call somebody back, that is like the bare minimum. The scariest part was how many of them wanted to give me a price over the phone without even seeing the leak. What has your experience been with getting a plumber or electrician out here lately? Is it just me or has it gotten way harder in the last year or two?
