Rant: A 30 year tech told me my multimeter leads were junk and it bugged me for a week
I was testing a dryer heating element last month and kept getting readings that jumped around, so I blamed the meter itself. The old guy at the shop in Reno looked at my leads and said 'those things are 20 years old, you're chasing ghosts' and handed me his Fluke set. I swapped them out and the readings went steady right away, so now I want to know what cheap tools you all held onto way too long before someone finally called you out on it?
