Switched from rope to flip line for spar work 2 weeks ago

Used to fight with my rope all day on spar removals. Hated the constant adjusting. Got a proper flip line with a steel core after watching a guy at a job in Portland. Game changer for stability. Anyone else make that switch later than they should have?

Happens all the time in this trade - everyone sticks with their old gear way too long because it's what they know. Hardest part is admitting your tool is making the job harder.

Agree with @murphy.linda, switching tools feels like learning your job all over again but it pays off.
