That $320 truck winch for pulling stumps was garbage from day one
Bought it off a Facebook ad last spring, first big oak stump we hooked up to, the cable snapped on the second tug. Sent it back and got a refund, but I lost two jobs because the truck was in the shop for a week. Anyone else skip the winch and just use a come-along instead?

Man, I feel that pain. A come-along with a good tree wrap and some patience will do way more than those cheap winches ever will, plus you can fix it with basic tools if it breaks.
