Guy at the star party in Tucson said my stacked moon shots were "overcooked" and he was right
I was showing off 240 frames stacked in Autostakkert at the local club meetup, and an older guy with a beat up C8 looked at it for a bit and said it looked cooked, not sharp. Turns out he meant my sharpening was cranked so hard the crater rims had halos, and I dropped it from 80 percent to 30 and the detail got way cleaner. Anyone got a number they settle on for wavelet sharpening, or is it just eyeballing it every time?
