Just learned the Hubble Ultra Deep Field has over 10,000 galaxies in a tiny spot of sky

I always thought those deep space pics were amazing but never realized it was such a small patch of sky, like a grain of sand held at arm's length. Found that fact on a NASA site while reading about the image specs. Anyone else get blown away by the scale of those photos?

Laughing my ass off every time I think about how that tiny speck of sky has more galaxies than we can count, and we're just sitting here looking at it. It makes you feel so small in the best way possible, lol. Like each one of those little smudges is a whole Milky Way with billions of stars and planets. I remember when I first saw the deep field image and zoomed in, I almost dropped my coffee just staring at all those dots. It's crazy how our brains can't really wrap around numbers that big, you just gotta accept it and move on.
