Serious question, did I mess up my star trails shot because of a sprinkler in Sedona
Went out to a spot near Cathedral Rock at like 11pm to shoot star trails with my Canon Rebel and a tripod I borrowed from my neighbor. Set up a 45 minute exposure, walked back to the car to grab a snack, and came back to find a sprinkler head popping up right in the frame spraying water everywhere. The lens had about 20 tiny drops on it and the whole stack was ruined, 45 minutes gone. Now I carry a cheap shower cap in my camera bag to cover the lens when I leave it alone, anyone else got weird stuff that jacked up their astro shots?
