Dropped $75 on a "guaranteed viral" TikTok course from a Aussie creator, and the whole thing was just him reading old posts off Reddit
Saw this bloke on my feed last month bragging about a Sydney marketing course that promised to make any video go viral for $75. I paid up because I run a small cafe in Newcastle and wanted that kind of push for our specials. Turns out all 6 hours of it was him reading tips off Reddit from 2019, stuff like "post at 7pm" and "use trending sounds" which I already knew. He also sold us a private group for another $30 a month that's just full of people posting the same clip and getting 200 views. Has anyone actually had a course like that work, or is this just how they all run now?

A mate of mine in Hamilton fell for one of those too. Paid $120 to some guy from Melbourne who kept saying "the algorithm rewards consistency" over and over like it was a magic spell. The whole course was 14 videos of him talking into his phone in his car. My mate tried it for a month on his lawn mowing business, posted every single day like the guy said, got about 12 views total. Then he realized the only person making money off the "viral system" was the bloke selling it. Your $30 group full of people getting 200 views is basically the whole business plan.
