Update: I finally read the fine print on my car wash subscription and there's a $75 cancellation fee

Signed up at the place on Gaffney Drive last June thinking it was month to month, and the guy behind the counter never mentioned the 12 month lock in. Anyone else get hit with a surprise fee like this, or did I just not ask enough questions?
