Built a rain barrel out of a pickle bucket and my tomatoes doubled in size
I drilled a hole in the lid, set it under the downspout on my shed, and figured it would just be a cheap way to water. Three weeks later the two plants under that drip line had tomatoes the size of softballs while the ones on the hose were scrawny, and I think it's because rain water isn't full of the stuff my tap water has. Anyone got a cheap way to catch more without it turning into a mosquito hatchery?
