Hot take: hitting 40 feet of fence was the number that finally made me buy a real post driver
I put up about 40 feet of cedar fence along my side yard in Toledo using a borrowed manual driver, and my shoulders were done by post six. Back when my dad built fences he had this old steel driver with a welded handle and I swore I'd never need anything fancier. Took me three weekends to finish that stretch when it should have been one, and that 40 foot mark is what finally pushed me to get a gas driver. Now I'm looking at the other 90 feet and wondering if I should just rent a skid steer auger instead, has anyone run one in tight yard space?
