My sourdough starter survived a 2 week power outage, somehow
Lost power for 14 days during that ice storm in Portland last winter. I figured the starter was done for, but I threw it in a cooler with a couple of warm water bottles and forgot about it. When the lights came back, it had a hooch layer an inch deep but perked right up after one feeding. Anybody else had a starter bounce back from a worse situation, or did I just get lucky with the cold temps?}
