A guy at my bank in Toledo swore I could reverse a $72 overdraft fee with one phone call, and he was full of it
He told me to just ask for a 'courtesy reversal' since I had been a member for 9 years and never bounced a check before that week. I called, waited on hold for 38 minutes, and the rep said they only do that for accounts with direct deposit over $2,000 a month, which mine isn't. Has anyone actually gotten a fee wiped, and if so what exact words did you use?
