Booking extra minutes for a detailed cut turned my week around

A guy came in wanting a precise taper, so I gave myself more time than usual. I worked slowly, checking each section before moving on, and it took almost an hour. He left so happy that he referred two friends the next day. Why do we cram appointments when a little patience builds a better business?

But extra time cuts into profits and slows down service.

I hear you, @olivia_lopez16, extra time really does hurt profits and slow service, it's a tough spot.

Actually rushing things can cost more when you have to fix mistakes later. Slowing down a bit sometimes means doing it right the first time. Lost time on one job might save three others from coming back broken.
