Straight razor vs safety razor for my zero fade lineup

Been betting on a straight razor for edge ups since March after my safety razor kept leaving tiny nicks on the hairline in Houston humidity. Switched back to the safety razor for necklines because it's faster when I got 8 clients stacked before noon on Saturdays. The straight razor wins on crispness but I lost a whole afternoon resharpening it after dropping it on tile. Anyone else split their razor choices based on the cut, or is that just me being extra at the chair?
