TIL the old barber supply shop on 5th in Portland still hand sharpens clippers for $8
I stopped in last week while my wife was shopping and the owner showed me how he laps a blade flat on a wet stone, something most of us just toss and replace. Takes him about 15 minutes and the cut feels sharper than a new factory set. Anyone else still get their blades sharpened locally or have you all gone to swapping them out?
