Unpopular opinion: Straight razors beat electric trimmers for client laughs

Honestly, a dude walked in last week wanting a pencil mustache like an old movie star. Tbh, I grabbed my straight razor instead of my trimmer, and he flinched so hard he almost fell out of the chair. Ngl, we ended up laughing about it for ten minutes, and he left happy. Now I keep the razor handy for silly requests because it turns a basic cut into a fun memory.

Yeah, I got my roommate good with that last week. I pretended to drop a full glass of water, the whole dramatic flinch and catch. His reaction was exactly like in those videos, pure panic then instant relief. It never gets old, hugoc17. Another classic is the fake spider on the shoulder, gets a full jump scare every single time.
