Vent: found out the average barber does 10 to 15 cuts a day, and my back said "of course"
I was reading a post on a grooming blog and it said most barbers do somewhere between 10 and 15 haircuts a day. That number hit me weird because when I started at a shop in Columbus back in 2009, we'd regularly knock out 20 or more and just call it a normal Tuesday. Now I look at my book and I'm lucky to hit 12 without my wrist aching. I get it, we were younger and dumber and thought slow days meant we weren't hustling. But the funny thing is, the guys doing 12 now seem to have way more regulars than we ever did. We were basically running a haircut factory and calling it skill. So what's your real daily number these days, and did you ever track it?
