inBack in '05 we'd manually shim every guide rail joint, but now I just use a laser alignment tool from the pit to the overhead.
Laser for speed, but start them on the shims.

Honestly, @hall.nina's pink ceiling sounds like abstract art compared to my kombucha geyser. That stuff got on everything and left a sticky film I'm still finding years later. Tbh, ferment fails are just science experiments that fight back.

Hot take: Classic Gen2 gremlin. Yeah, those door lock relays are a known weak spot on that generation. The intermittent fault makes sense because the contacts get pitted over time. Your jumper fix was the right call to get it to a landing safely. Always keep a couple of those relays on the truck, they fail more often than people think.
