Shoutout to the old guy at the swap meet who called my tongs too long
I was showing off a pair of reins I just finished at the Springfield swap meet and he picked one up, set it on the table, and said "your hand sits 4 inches too far back, you'll lose the feel on light work." I shortened them a hair that night and the difference on 1/4 inch stock was night and day. Anyone else get a kick out of a total stranger spotting your mistakes in 10 seconds flat?
