My niece turned our weekly dinner into a full-blown Dungeons & Dragons session
She brought her character sheets and dice last Sunday, and before we knew it, we were rolling for initiative instead of passing the potatoes, lol. My mom kept asking if dragons were real, and my brother got way too into role-playing his elf wizard. It was fun but chaotic, and now she wants to make it a regular thing. Anyone have tips for keeping game nights from taking over family meals?
Oh man, that's the best kind of family chaos... you get so deep into your own nerdy stuff that it bleeds into regular life. My dad once asked me how my "magic elf game" was going... meaning D&D. It's a special kind of confusion they have.
