Vent: my flgs in Portland has 6 tables and only 1 is ever free for open play
Stopped by Guardian Games on a Tuesday around 7pm and counted 6 tables. Five were locked down for Magic and Warhammer leagues, only 1 open for pickup games. So which is it, should a store cater to the scheduled crowd that pays rent, or leave room for walk-ins who might buy a $60 box on a whim? I get both sides but I stood there 40 minutes with my copy of Cascadia and nobody could squeeze me in. What's the table split like at your shop?
