A 30 year hand in Gary told me to stop chipping slag uphill and my wrists quit aching in two weeks
He said gravity pulls the chisel away from the seam on the uphill side and you end up fighting it, so now I work everything downhill and I want to know if the rest of you were taught that way or the other way.
