My kids want me around for weeknight dinners, but the overtime cash is hard to pass up. I get both points. How do you all find the right balance?

Hold up, you said the overtime cash is hard to pass up. Your kids are literally asking you to be home for dinner. You're thinking about saying no to that for some extra money? I can't wrap my head around that. Those weeknight meals are where you hear about their day, the stupid jokes, all that stuff. The money will always be there later. They won't.

Listen to your kids on this one. That overtime money will never buy back those weeknight dinners. Your family needs you present, not just paid.
