Went off script at my Tuesday book club in Dayton and it got awkward fast
Last Tuesday at our meeting in Dayton we were wrapping up a slow literary novel and I brought up a plot hole with the timeline in chapter 9. Three people nodded but the woman who picked the book crossed her arms and said "that part was the whole point," and the room went quiet for maybe 20 seconds. Do you bring up things you didn't like about a pick when the person who chose it is sitting right there?
