Pro tip: don't leave your PVA glue open near a box fan, I learned this the hard way
I was in my garage workshop in Fresno last Saturday binding a batch of 12 sketchbooks for a local art fair. I had my quart of PVA open and a box fan running because it was about 95 degrees out. The fan was about 4 feet from my glue pot and I didn't think anything of it until I turned around and saw a fine mist of glue had blown all over my freshly cut book board and my pants. I tried wiping it off with a damp rag but that just smeared it deeper into the board. I ended up having to recut all 12 sets of boards and I tossed the whole glue pot because a skin had formed on top. My pants are still stiff as a rock and my wife said I looked like I fell in a puddle of milk. Anyone else have a dumb workshop setup story like this, or am I the only one who forgets basic airflow rules?
