inWarning: Took me 5 hours to fix a bad toner job I thought was fine in 20 minutes
Ugh that greenish muddy color is the worst, I've been there lol. What worked for me was using a red shampoo first before even trying to re tone, it helped cancel out the green so the new toner actually stuck right. Also learned the hard way to always slap that timer on my phone the second I start applying, no more guessing games with processing time.

inJust moved to Logan Square from the suburbs and the noise difference is wild
Yeah "most of them don't cut it" is dead on. I went through four different white noise machines before I found one that actually helped with the bass. The cheap ones are useless for that low frequency stuff, they just make a high pitched whine that does nothing. I ended up getting one that has a specific "brown noise" setting and it finally works. I use earplugs AND the machine together actually. The earplugs block the sharp sounds like sirens and car doors slamming, and the machine handles the constant rumbling bass from the neighbor's speakers. It's annoying having to do both but at least I can sleep now. Took me about three months to figure out that combo.

inSpent $180 on a load cell for my crane and it paid for itself in one job
Funny how the cheap stuff often ends up being the real life saver.

inThat time I compared a celeb's Instagram story vs their paid ad - night and day
Lane said polished ads bounce off them but actually those polished ads still work on a lot of people, they just hit different than the raw stuff. Its not that one is better, they just serve two different purposes.

inRant: Almost torqued a prop flange wrong after watching a YouTube video
@lewis.troy has a good point about not trusting everything online. Read a study once that showed even the popular aviation channels get torque specs wrong about 15% of the time. Better to just use whatever tool you know works for you and ignore the hype.
