That 'Local Mom' Facebook page in my town got caught last month, all 8 posts came from the same script
Honestly I started watching this page back in February because it kept popping up in my neighborhood group with deals that made no sense. Last month I got curious and ran the last 8 posts through a checker and every single one had the same tells, emojis in the exact same spots and a weird line break before the last sentence. The kicker was a post about a bakery closing that used a street name that does not exist in our town, I checked on Maps and everything. I messaged the page asking which corner it was on and got a reply in 40 seconds at 11pm that said 'so sorry to hear that, please click the link in bio'. That response did not even match my question, which is the part that finally made me sure. I reported it to the group mods and the page still has 3,200 followers somehow. Has anyone else seen these pages copy a real small business name but swap in fake street details? I want to know if this is one network or a bunch of separate ones.
