That downtown tunnel timeline was backwards, but the fix was worth it
I spent 6 months complaining about the new Main Street crosswalk signals because they felt slower than the old ones, then I actually timed them with my phone last week and realized the pedestrian countdown starts later but ends earlier, so the total wait is about 12 seconds shorter. The city's own online map showed the old phasing was worse for left turns too, which I never would have guessed since I only ever saw one intersection at a time. Has anyone else found a Bothell traffic change that made zero sense until you looked at the whole corridor instead of your daily route?
