Vent: Almost passed on a $150 deal from a tiny skincare brand, turns out they actually paid
A small skincare brand slid into my DMs back in March offering $150 for 3 posts and I assumed it was a total scam because they had under 2k followers. I sat on the email for a week, then finally asked for half upfront and they sent $75 same day through PayPal no questions asked. They paid the rest right on schedule and even shipped me a free product box that arrived in Denver in 4 days. The whole thing felt off because the brand was so small, but they were more legit than some companies with 100k followers who ghosted me. Has anyone else gotten burned trusting follower count over actual payment habits?
