Bought a $12 rice cooker from a thrift store, it saved my whole meal prep game
Found a beat up Aroma 3 cup cooker at Goodwill in Austin for 12 bucks and figured why not. It cooks perfect rice every single time and I've used it like 4 times a week for 5 months now. My old stovetop method always ended up burnt or mushy, plus this lets me toss beans and veggies in while it works. Anyone else got lucky with a cheap appliance that actually paid off?
