My mom told me to always buy whole chickens, and she was totally right

I finally tried it after years of just grabbing packs of breasts, and the savings are huge. Has anyone else found a simple tip that actually worked?

Just remember the savings only work if you actually use the whole thing. Otherwise you're just paying for bones.

Totally used to buy the big packs thinking I was so smart. Then I'd end up throwing half of it out. This post is so real lol.

My freezer is basically a graveyard for half-used bags of frozen peas. I'll buy the family size for my single self, use a handful, then forget it exists for six months. The savings disappear when you're just paying for freezer burn.
