inTook me near 6 hours to dial in a fade on a client with a cowlick
Wait, did you actually sit there and watch your barber for eight hours on a sleeve? Or was that over multiple sessions? I'm just trying to picture that because with a cowlick fade, the barber is doing all the work while you're just sitting there. That's a totally different kind of patience than getting a tattoo where you're actively getting poked with needles the whole time. I mean, was your guy taking breaks or did he just power through and keep cutting?

inFinally got my first good ferment after 3 years of trying
Isn't it funny how the same principle pops up in everything @lilykelly, like cooking and life needing the right balance to work?

inHeard a guy at the parts counter say tuners are overrated
Paying more for less power is how you know the tune is dialed in perfectly.

inJust found out my non-compete clause might not even hold up in court
Have you looked up your state's specific laws yet? That stat sounds about right honestly. I fought my old employer's non-compete a few years back and the judge basically laughed at it. The lawyer told me most companies just throw them in there to scare people, they know they probably won't hold up. Just make sure you document everything and don't sign anything new without showing it to a lawyer first.
